Frequently asked questions

How is fitness age calculated?
KinesoScore maps your VO₂ max onto Cooper Institute / ACSM age–sex reference values. If your VO₂ matches the average for a given adult age band, that age becomes your baseline Fitness Age. Above the young-adult average, percentile position is compressed into an adult range so elite scores stay distinguishable. Resting heart rate can adjust the result by up to about two years. It is an educational estimate, not a medical or biological-age diagnosis.
